Abstract This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (ISO/IEC 9070:1990). Has been developed to support the use of the SGML, defined in ISO 8879, and other text description and processing languages. Describes the procedures whereby assignments of owner prefixes to owners of public text are made. Annexes A, B, C and D are for information only.
