How can I open a corporate account?

The IEC corporate account is a payment facility designed for companies that regularly purchase standards from the IEC Webstore; it is not intended for one-off purchases.

 

To open an IEC corporate account, a minimum prepayment of CHF 2’000 is required, which can be made by credit card through a payment link or by bank transfer. Upon payment receipt, we will set up the IEC corporate account on your IEC Webstore account and grant you with an additional 15% credit on the amount we received.

 

Once your corporate account is set up, you can select it as the payment method at checkout and have the cost of your order deducted from the available credit on your IEC corporate account.

 

For example, if you open an IEC corporate account by prepaying CHF 2’000, we will credit it with an additional CHF 300 so that you can buy publications for a total amount of CHF 2’300. You can use this credit to place multiple orders, as long as the available balance covers the cost of your orders.

 

You will receive a payment receipt when your IEC corporate account is set up and an invoice for each order placed. Additionally, we will send you a monthly statement listing the orders paid using your IEC corporate account, unless no orders were placed that month.

 

If the balance on your IEC corporate account is insufficient to cover the cost of your order, please contact us to request a quote for reloading your account with a minimum of CHF 2'000. We will also grant you with a 15% additional credit each time you reload your IEC corporate account.

 

Important: we require a minimum of two purchases per calendar year to keep this payment facility active. If an IEC corporate account remains inactive for an extended period, the IEC reserves the right to close it.
