3. Pre-ordering information

How can I open a Corporate account?

The corporate account facility has been designed for companies who regularly purchase standards on the IEC Webstore. It is therefore not meant for one off purchases.

To benefit from this service you pay in advance either by credit card or bank transfer a minimum of CHF 2'000.- and you get an extra credit of 15% on the amount paid. Upon payment you receive a login and password allowing you to download IEC publications on our website. All the costs of your future orders will be automatically deducted from your account.

For example if you pay CHF 2’000.- you will be able to download up to CHF 2’300.- worth of publications. You can then place several orders for as many publications as you require, as long as the total does not exceed the credit limit. The system does not allow you to place an order if the publication price exceeds the remaining credit in your account.

You will receive a payment receipt when your corporate account is set up, and an invoice for each order placed. A statement of account is sent on a monthly basis that lists all the orders placed through our Webstore and shows the balance remaining on your account. If no orders have been placed in a particular month, no statement will be sent. You can reload your account (again for a minimum of CHF 2'000.-) if your credit is not large enough to buy new publications.

In order to continue benefitting from this service, a minimum of 2 purchases per calendar year is required. If a corporate account remains inactive for an extended period of time, the IEC reserves the right to close the corporate account.

• Company name and name/email address of person to be responsible for the account
• Address
• Telephone
• The sum that you wish to credit to your account
